Star Performance Company

Our mission is to foster the growth of young dancers and performers through instruction and choreography by our professional staff members. We provide technique classes and routines that help teams excel during their performance and competitive seasons. Star Performance Company hopes to instill a love for performing and strives to bring teams together as they start their new year.

History of SPC

Star Performance Company was launched in 2006 as the latest dance, pom, and flag team summer camp. Our company was started because we wanted to bring professional expertise to dance and flag teams in the Midwest area and offer teams a camp where they could come learn, perform, and have fun as a team. We pride ourselves on being a team camp with a team emphasis in all routines and performance evaluations. We are also the only camp that aligns our camp routines with the Illinois competitive organizations, TDI and IDTA. We are fortunate to now be in our 7th year and have had the pleasure of working with over 50 teams and thousands of performers.

• Work on and improve technique
• Learn challenging, creative choreography
• Bond with your team and other dancers
• Have FUN!

Director & Coaches Program

We launched a brand new program in 2010 for our directors and coaches at camp and it was a success. The course will once again be led by our very own Matthew Perez, an Illinois judiciary official and three-time state champion choreographer.

• Examine the choreography and structure of camp routines
• Learn the main components of making a top-ranked competitive routine
• Take home tricks of the trade from Matthew and other coaches on how to make your season the most successful that it can be!
