Kristen Sheridan, Camp Director
Kristen Sheridan has over 25 years of dance experience and has studied ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and hip hop. Kristen was a member and captain of her Illinois State Champion high school dance team. She was the Showstopper of the Week her junior and senior year, and then won the National Showstopper of the Year Scholarship her senior year. Kristen was on the University of Wisconsin Dance Team, a consistent top ten team at Nationals. A varsity staff member of Showstopper Camps of America for 7 years, she became their Associate Camp Director and Featured Choreographer in 2004. Kristen has choreographed competition routines for high schools in Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio. She has danced professionally as an Adrenaline Rush dancer for the Chicago Rush Arena Football Team and in the NBA as a Chicago Luvabull for the Chicago Bulls. Kristen was a captain of the Luvabulls her third season. She is in her 3rd year as the Head Coach for the nationally ranked University of South Florida Dance Team, the SunDolls.

Matthew Perez, Flag Coordinator
Matthew Perez has 11 years experience in the color guard industry, winning three DCI world championships, a second place finish, and two DCI individual and ensemble competitions with the Cavaliers. These impressive and formative years have set up this young choreographer for success. Matthew currently heads up the color guard design and choreography for the Prospect Marching Knights, a regular BOA regional and national finalist. He has also garnered state recognition as the premier designer for the Palatine Flag team, three time state champions; as well as consultant for many leading state finalists. Illinois State dance adjudicator and frequent guest judge to other State organizations has afforded Matthew an inside look at the complex and inner workings of the of the judiciary system.

Jenny Anderson
Jenny Anderson’s love for dance includes experience in jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical, theater, swing and salsa over the past 20 years. She is from Minnesota where she started dance studio performance and competition. Jenny was a member and two-year captain of her high school dance team, performing jazz/funk and high kick. She went to college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she was member and captain of the nationally ranked dance team in both jazz and hip-hop. Jenny was an instructor/model for Just For Kix dance camps. She was a Production Cast Dancer for 2 years Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. While living in Los Angeles, Jenny was a member of DDO Dance Agency, performed for Nike, was a Summer Pro League Dancer and took class at the EDGE Performing Arts Center from choreographers such as Blake McGrath, Bobby Newberry and Mandy Moore. Jenny now choreographs for high schools in Chicago and just started her own dance company, DAME dancers.

Heather Bilbrey
Heather Bilbrey has over 16 years of dance experience, including training in ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern, Pointe, tap, musical theatre, and lyrical. She studied at St. Charles School of Dance, Ruth Page Foundation School of Dance in Chicago, and the Broadway Dance Center in New York. She started performing at age six in numerous dance competitions and in the Chicago Tribune Charities production of The Nutcracker. She received multiple scholarships, including several from the CNADM convention. Heather was on her high school pom team for four years. She was co-captain her junior year and captain/choreographer her senior year. Heather is a senior at the University of Kansas, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Dance.

Lauren Bilbrey
Lauren Bilbrey’s passion for dance started over 20 years ago. She has studied with the St. Charles School of Dance and the Ruth Page Foundation School of Dance. She is formally trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, and hip hop. Lauren started performing at age ten, when she was cast in the Chicago Tribune Charities production of The Nutcracker. She has received numerous scholarships, including one from Dimitri Roudnev’s Ballet Intensive from Moscow. Lauren was a member and captain of her Illinois State Champion high school pom team. During her senior year, she was voted Showstopper of the Week and Year. Lauren danced at The University of Iowa, while gaining a Bachelor of Arts in English. She choreographs for highly competitive pom and dance teams throughout the Chicagoland area, and her routines have recently gained state titles. Lauren also coaches and is a dance instructor for local high schools.

Katie Evans
Katie Evans has been dancing since age 3. Her dance studio training includes ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop and musical theater. She was a Head Instructor and Judge for UDA High School Nationals. Katie danced at The University of Kansas and The University of Wisconsin, Madison. The UW Madison Dance Team went from placing in the top 15 to placing 2nd her senior year when she was captain of the team. Katie was Head Coach of UW Madison in 2003-2004. Living in New York, she danced at Broadway Dance Center and was assistant coach and choreographer for the Columbia University Dance Team. Katie is now back in Chicago, choreographing and critiquing for high school and college teams in the area and well as performing with DAME Dancers at charity and promotional events.

Jaimee Jaucian
Jaimee Jaucian began dancing in the Macopa Filipino Dance Troupe in Madison, WI and continued training in jazz and ballet at Christine Rich Dance Studio and Art in Motion Dance Studio. Jaimee was a member of the nationally-ranked University of Wisconsin-Madison Dance Team, featured on ESPN. She danced on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in California for the 2000 Rose Bowl. Jaimee was an Adrenaline Rush Dancer and her passion for hip hop started when training at Lou Conte and Visceral dance studios in Chicago. Jaimee now dances for Hip Hop ConnXion-Chicago, a company with a mission to inspire youth through dance. With this company, she choreographs, performs, teaches and attends conventions with master choreographers like Tabitha and Napoleon Dumo, Sonya Tayeh, and the Jabbawockeez. Her choreography in hip hop, pom, and jazz has been featured by high school and college competitive dance teams. Recent performance credits include Dance Chicago, the Fame movie premiere and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Jaimee has her M.A. in Dance/Movement Therapy & Counseling.

Kate Koenig
Kate Koenig’s passion for dance began 16 years ago in Chicago. Her background includes jazz, ballet, modern, pointe, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, social dance and musical theater. Kate was a member of the Orchesis dance team. She choreographed, was Vice President and President of her Orchesis team. Kate graduated in 2006 from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Kate was a member of Zodiaque Studio Dance Ensemble, performed in Dancer’s Workshop Productions, choreographed for Young Choreographers Showcase and interned at the American College Dance Festival. She trained with the Martha Graham Company, Limon Company, Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, Fosse, Randy Duncan and Doug Varone. Kate then pursued her dance career on the famous Las Vegas Strip. She is now back living in Chicago as a passionate dancer, choreographer and teacher.

Jessica van Dusen
Jessica van Dusen has studied dance at the Gould Academy of Dance Arts, Lou Conte Dance, the Ruth Page Foundation, Millenium and Steps on Broadway in New York. Trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, modern, tap, musical theatre, tumbling, hip hop, and break-dance, she began her performing debut in The Nutcracker, Carmina Burana, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond. She was captain and choreographer of her Illinois State Champion Drill Team and was Showstopper of the Week. Jessica was a member of the nationally ranked University of Iowa Dance Team, and the Iowa Dance Company. Jessica danced professionally as a soloist in Rasa Dance Theatre in Chicago, a Chicago Luvabull, and an industrial dance performer for corporate events. She has taken class from Mia Michaels, Tabitha and Napolean, Shane Sparks and Barry Youngblood. Jessica was the demo and assistant for Brian Friedman at ProDance in Miami. She is currently the Co-Artistic Director for the 3rd Street Dance Company, a judge for TDI, and also teaches the technical judging courses to new TDI staff.
